Pate de Fruit

Chocolate raspberry, Orange, honey and almond, and Tropical coconut French style gelee. These traditional confections date back to 10th century France and the days before refrigeration. Fresh fruit was preserved with sugar and made into jelly firm enough to cut into shapes. These pate de fruits ( PAT- de-FWEE) became a bite sized way to enjoy fresh fruit year round and today the tradition lives on at Pollinator.
